Jo Watson, MSc Executive Leadership, MinstF (Dip) is a champion of the social economy and leadership. She has a strong vision and passion for achieving results in a competitive business world through the merits of vibrant business development and meaningful charity partnerships.
With over twenty-five years’ experience in the voluntary and private sectors, she has considerable skills in strategic planning, leadership competencies, financial management, influencing key stakeholders and fundraising for significant amounts.
Jo holds an Advanced Diploma in Sustainable Investment for the Third Sector with the Ulster University Business School and a full member of the Institute of Fundraising. She has recently completed a Masters in Executive Leadership (Distinction) with Ulster University Business School. She is currently completing her ILM Coaching and Mentoring certification.
During her varied career, she has built a strong network of people, organisations and associates who share her drive for business development and results. Jo is an accomplished public speaker at conferences and events while also being an associate lecturer for the Ulster University in the field of leadership.
Amongst her many many voluntary roles she volunteers for Young Enterprise NI inspiring young people to grasp the world of entrepreneurial business. Along with two other business women Nancy Brown and Janette Sheerman, Jo has founded a Lean In a circle in Ards and North Down encouraging women to reach their potential. Formerly a member of the BBC Charities Appeals advisory committee and BBC Children in Need NI grant giving committee.

Mags White BA Hons, Dip. Event Man. is a freelance Cultural Consultant with 15 years’ experience in front line management and administrative /financial control in the Local Government and Not-for-profit Arts Sectors. She also provides drama tuition to pre- and post- primary students within educational settings and community groups throughout the province. She is a former member of the Chartered Institute Of Marketing and her accreditations include Volunteer Management, Event Management, and Arts Administration.
Having spent ten years as the Arts Coordinator for Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council, responsible for the business development, financial and administrative management of the Council’s Arts Service, she implemented strategies to achieve income targets and was responsible for the line management of all frontline staff in the service. She was a Committee member of the LCCC Performance Excellence Working Group and successfully project managed the Arts Service’s first Customer Service Excellence Chartermark standard, maintaining this success throughout her term at the Council. She was also the only NI representative Committee member of the UK Local Authorities Event Organisers Group.
Mags began trading as Grapefruit Moon in a freelance capacity in 2016. Since then she has provided services to clients including R-Space Gallery Lisburn, Linen Biennale NI, Cedar Foundation, and Resurgam Trust, having a proven track record in delivering excellent support services, event management and accessing increased levels of funding year on year.
